Our products have been imported from warmer climates and as is the case with any solid wood furniture, rapid changes in temperature can cause some movement and cracking. Therefore we would recommend that you avoid placing your furniture too close to radiators or fireplaces and where possible out of direct sunlight.

We would also recommend that you place a glass of water inside a cabinet or chest as this can help to prevent shrinkage.

Our products can be cleaned with a dry cloth or duster. Stains can be removed with a damp cloth however avoid the use of too much water as this can affect the finish. Frequent waxing is not required but can be carried out every couple of months using a good quality natural beeswax. Do not use spray-on wax as this may affect the colour of lacquered goods. Never use any abrasive cleaning products or chemicals.
